Fermanagh Autistic Spectrum Community
Fermanagh Autistic Spectrum Community

What is FASC?

Fermanagh Autistic Spectrum Community Ltd (FASC) is a new charitable community organisation, established by parents of autistic children and young people, that aims to help individuals and their families in this area access information and support more readily and more easily. This is a new endeavour for us and an ambitious one but we hope that with help we can build an independent organisation with a local focus that can be responsive to the needs of people in Fermanagh.

  • Thank you to everyone who voted for our project in the recent round of the Aviva Community Fund Awards. Unfortunately we didn't get enough votes to be successful this time but we will keep looking for funding and support to run progtammes to help and support local people. If you would like to be involved please get in touch: fermanaghascommunity@gmail.com
  • In September Northern Ireland Electricity Networks awarded FASC a grant for a new cooker and kitchen equipment. Thank you NIE Networks.

1.    Establish a High Street presence in Enniskillen, where people can find information, access support for themselves and their families and avail of learning and development opportunities.

2. Increase awareness, understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum conditions in our community and beyond by connecting and working with a wide range of organisations, charities, businesses and community groups.

3.     Establish a meeting place for young people who do not feel able, for whatever reason, to join standard clubs; a place for them to learn practical and social skills,  grow in confidence and have fun.

We are still in the process of building this website - more pages and details will be added soon

FASC is registered with HMRC as a charitable organisation and the relevant application has been made to the NI Charity Commission
